hi to all my fellow students, who hav started or rather, planning to start your placement preparations this year. i'm sure the colleges would be providing a lot of information and practice on how to prepare fr an interview. but this blog would be giving you all a few more tips and placement patterns of all the companies and help you start off with your preparations.

i just happened to read an article written by a student on his preparations for TCS. hope it helps you know how a real inteview goes on!

My TCS Interview Experience: Dushyant

hello friends i am dushyant from indore sending my experience about the recruitment of TCS
friends the written test of us held on 30-8-05 at OIST BHOPAL .from 3000 students nearly600 people are called for the interviews on 20 and 21 of august at mumbai.

written test- written test is exactly in accordance with the usual pattern of the TCS

ENGLISH SECTION:- 1) the antonyms and synonyms are exactly from barron's book .yo are requiredto prepare 750 words from the list.
2)The paragraph that i get was also from the barron's paragraph--the paraagrap of americannigro writers from the model paper no. 4.
3)The fill in the blanks are not belong to the barron's but they werw so easy.
APTITUDE-please solve previous papers of TCS aptitude questions are exactly repeated copy of previous papers

CRITICAL REASONING:- 1) new albio sanatory problem of one of the papers of baron.2)a problem related to five people in which one is speaker,one is writer and other and you have to find a group with certain restrictionsa problem of baron model paper.3)a problem related to football ,hockey ,basketball players it is also belong to baron.
the Q.2 and Q.3 of critical reasoning are very very easy and you can solve them also very quickly if you are seeing them first time.
i have cleared my written test and then called for the TECH. andHR interview on 21-8-05 in mumbai.E
